Themes are named, not pasted: theme_name picks a file out of your theme directory or the shipped set, C-a t is a picker that wears each one as you browse it, and --dump-theme writes the palette you are looking at. The tab bar grew a sidebar's manners -- numbers aligned at the far edge, a plate under every tab, tab_bar_padding for the air inside -- and a pane can now say over OSC 5577 that its status is still happening, which the sidebar answers with a spinner.
